Fairly clean and the staff was pleasant. Got suite than on the picture when arrived, really enjoyed that. The property was in the centre of the city. Also, we were 4 km from an 18th-century windmill.

It has magnificent and lovely location really close to everything, in a quiet area. Special vibe, the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. It is a Victorian building, the rooms are nice old in terms of decoration.

It was an excellent and perfect location for us, next to the trams for the airport, restaurants in the West End and Haymarket railway station. Plus, our hotel was located 3 km from tourist attractions like Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

Overall it was a fairly nice stay for the weekend. All the staff were super-friendly, efficient. Enjoyed good-sized room, bed was very comfy. Could use a TV, a kettle, and a high ceiling. The location was good and magnificent for visiting pubs and bars walk from the hotel.
Very dated room, I was a little disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay, had great 1 day overall. The standard triple room was beautiful old and well-equipped with smoke alarm and the bathroom plus a four poster bed. The location seemed magnificent and unbeatable right next to tram stop. Besides, the hotel was 3 km away from Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
